In an emergency City Council meeting on March 26, 2020, Levelland City Council passed Resolution 2020-09 declaring a state of disaster for public health emergency for the City of Levelland. Levelland City Council passed Ordinance 1048 which amends the City’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan by adding a penalty provision and establishing a penalty of a fine not to exceed $1,000 or up to 180 days in jail for each violation. On Monday, April 27, 2020, Governor Greg Abbott issued Executive Order GA-18, which starts the process of "Opening Texas". As of May 18, 2020, the Open Texas Guide has been updated, as more businesses have been given permission to open. Here are the current guidelines-
